What a busy weekend it was! the house was full of wonderful guests. On Saturday we toasted the Royal Wedding of Harry and Megan with mimosas and we got some gorgeous flowers planted, thanks to some visitors from Troy Main Street and the Miami County Visitors Bureau. They even joined us for breakfast! [you are always welcome, ladies!] We had some delicious fresh berries and grit cakes with salsa, fried red tomatoes and sour cream along with other goodies on Sunday. Oh delish!
The intermittent rain didn't dampen anyone's spirits and there were so many things to do in the area like the food truck rally and the Springfield antique and art extravaganza. We are looking forward to the Friday concerts on Prouty Plaza and the Strawberry Festival! What are you up to?

Its the perfect weather for sitting out on the patio and listening to the wind chimes blowing in the breeze. What a great way to slow down and take a break from the stress of the work day world...beverage...feet up....maybe read a book, or just dream and disconnect from everything.
What more could one ask for on a beautiful spring day or evening? floors stripped, wow ! that's marble under there! painting.... lights replaced.....papers filed... put another record on..... painting....more painting.... more painting.... shopping and decorating [that's the fun part] We are getting so much closer to the grand opening of The Charlotte! WOW! can it really be happening?? we will finally be having guests in the house, and all the hard work will be worth it!
